OBJECTIVE
The Polling Booth Survey aimed to assess the level of achievement of the ISSNIP objectives, and to improve the availability of real-time information for State officials about the effectiveness of the ISSNIP-funded community-based events and incremental learning approach.
Target Audiance
The target audience for PBS includes the community viz, Pregnant & Lactating Women, mothers-in-law, and husbands.
Locations
A total of 8 states were selected for the study. These were AP, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and UP.
Sample Size
Proportionate sampling was done to calculate the number of sessions to be conducted at each level in all eight states.
Each session was conducted with 10-13 participants.
8 states, 33 districts, 122 blocks, 1418 AWCs, and a total of 4032 ICDS functionaries were covered during the first round of PBS.
